For calendar year 2022, Utah Chapter of APWA Awards Committee is seeking nominations for the following individual and project-based categories:
PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT OF THE YEAR Recognizes a design professional and/or contractor for outstanding achievements in project design and/or construction of a public works project during the previous year.
PUBLIC WORKS SAFETY AWARD Honors a public works agency or related agency personnel at the operational level for outstanding achievement in safety during the previous year.
G. MARK MORRISON PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEE AWARD Recognizes a public works employee for outstanding achievements and services rendered during the previous calendar year.
APWA MEMBER OF THE YEAR AWARD Recognizes outstanding service to public works and to the APWA during the previous calendar year
STORM WATER INSPECTOR/ENGINEER Recognizes an inspector or engineer for outstanding services protecting the environment through excellent storm water practices during the previous calendar year.
STORM WATER PROJECT OF THE YEAR Recognizes a design professional and/or contractor for outstanding storm water project, design, and/or construction of a storm water project during the previous year.
Please look at deserving individuals that should be recognized for their contributions to Public Works and projects that you feel you have been involved in this past year that deserve recognition as you consider these awards. This is a great way to recognize individuals within your organizations who truly are making a difference in the Public Works Field.
