The Utah Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) is pleased to announce that the Association is once again offering multiple scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each. Three scholarships are for full-time students pursuing a degree in public administration, public works, or a branch of engineering applicable to public works such as civil engineering, and who will have senior standing as of the Fall 2022 semester. One scholarship is for a full-time public works employee who is concurrently pursuing his/her education in a public works/engineering related field. Two full-time student scholarships will be awarded to students who are currently pursuing a graduate degree in Water Resources Engineering. A qualification for all the scholarships is that the student must be a resident of the State of Utah. The deadline for students to complete an application and submit it for consideration is by noon on September 12, 2022. The selection will be made prior to our annual fall conference and once again we are asking the selected scholarship winners to attend a lunch at our conference for presentation of the awards.
